PEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY

Children’s neurological diseases are different than those commonly seen in adults and require specialized care. With the region’s only pediatric neurosurgeon, The Center is committed to caring for all types of pediatric brain and nervous system conditions. Our pediatric neurosurgeon combines family-focused care with clinical expertise to diagnose and treat complex conditions that affect the developing brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves, using minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.

Pediatric neurosurgical conditions are often present for life. The children with these conditions require close, ongoing care from a pediatric neurosurgeon as their bodies develop into teenagers and young adults. As a result, patients and their families are able to create a long-term relationship and special bond with their doctor.
