Central Oregon Golfer Returns to Play After Hip Replacement

Loi Filo, a retired police officer, had hip pain for years. After he retired and moved to Bend, Oregon, the pain was so bad that he wasn’t able to complete playing 18 holes of golf. He knew that he needed a total hip replacement, but he held off for as long as he could. He went to see Dr. James Hall, joint replacement surgeon at The Center. Dr. Hall reassured Loi that he was going to get him playing golf again and living life without constant hip pain.

Loi’s advice to his friends is to not wait to have the procedure. He says, “If you are in pain, see a doctor so you can live life to the fullest again.”
