Radiology technicians are constantly interacting with patients, so it’s important for them to easily get along with people. Here at The Center, we’re lucky to have Amy Broderick as our Radiology Lead, who is the definition of a people person. In fact, Amy says her favorite part of the job is working with people – both patients and her radiology team. She enjoys working with people of all ages and stages, and says it keeps things interesting.

The Center’s Neff Road Clinic has three x-ray rooms, and between them all the radiology team averages anywhere from 80-100 x-rays per day. Amy says her days are generally full and fast-paced. When she’s not at work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her kids. She just returned from spending Christmas in Thailand with her family!

Amy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, with her five brothers and moved to Bend to raise her children. Before her career in radiology, Amy worked in mortgage loans and was a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. She says she had always wanted to be in the medical field; her brother’s career in radiology sparked her interest. She worked for The Center as a Radiology Assistant while she was in school. Amy has been our Radiology Lead for the past two years.
