Medical Education: Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA
Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Timothy’s passion for medicine started at an early age, being influenced by his mother being a NICU nurse, as well as developing an interest in how bones and muscles work through playing sports. Prior to moving to Central Oregon, he spent twelve years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and has experience with almost every aspect of sprains, strains, and fractures. He also served as a Diving Medical Technician and Physical Fitness Coordinator for Special Forces teams.
Upon discharging from the Navy, he knew he wanted to continue taking care of orthopedic injuries and always dreamed of moving to the Pacific Northwest. Timothy enjoys building relationships with his patients and helping them achieve their goals, whether it is a child getting back to playing sports or a grandmother getting back to the activities she loves without pain. In his spare time, he loves playing soccer. He enjoys outdoor activities, playing and coaching for his children’s sports teams, and going to the movies with his wife.
“Tim Curtis and his staff are very caring listen to all my questions – very good care. He knows exactly what to do to treat my issue!”
