Scott’s diverse background includes emergency medicine, teaching resident physicians, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students, and surgical assisting for plastic and reconstructive medicine. He worked in Urgent Care at Bend Memorial Clinic for two years and is the medical supervisor for the BMC Mt. Bachelor Clinic. He also served six years as Chief PA of Emergency Medicine at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Prior to becoming a PA, Scott was a paramedic in New York and a flight paramedic for Mercy Flight for four years.

Scott and his wife Diane have three children and they all enjoy skiing, mountain biking and camping. His interest in mountain biking has led to the development of a local club team known as Hammer Down. Look out for their orange and black Jerseys on the local trails!
