Joint replacement is a major decision, and at The Center, your orthopedic surgeon will provide you with as much information as possible to choose the right procedure for you. Mako robotic-arm assisted technology provides patients with a precise, personalized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy. This technology is now available at Cascade Surgicenter, as well as St. Charles Health System. Our local orthopedic surgeons are actively involved in the education of surgeons both regionally and nationally with this technology.
Before your surgery, a three dimensional model of your hip or knee will be created from CT scans of your joint. Your surgeon uses the 3D model and state-of-the-art robotic arm to align, position, and secure the implant with extreme accuracy.
