In honor of celebrating mother’s day, we would like to recognize two very special moms at The Center. Their relationship with their daughters goes one step further than what most of us experience, as co-workers.
Adrienne Jorgenson, Financial Services Supervisor, has been with The Center for over ten years. Her daughter Morgan, Clinic Supervisor, joined the team five years ago. Separating work from family has never been an issue for these two. They both cherish their family time together, making it a point to see each other several times a month. While at work, they enjoy lunch or take a walk together at least once a week. When asked about the hardest part about working together, Morgan replied, “Transitioning to calling her Ade instead of mom at work!”
Seven months ago, The Center employed its second mother-daughter duo. Heidi Simon manages the payroll and credentialing and has been here over ten years. She told her daughter about an open position last year, and Kaylie leaped at the opportunity and is now a patient services specialist. They both say it’s not hard to separate work from family because their departments and duties are so different. The best part? “We see each other every day for lunch,” says Heidi.
Happy mother’s day to these special ladies and all the mothers out there. Whether you are a past, present, or soon-to-be mom, wishing you a most lovely day!
