About the speakers:


Ekaterina Urch, MD – The Center Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Care

Dr. Ekaterina Urch is a fellowship trained sports medicine physician with a passion for helping patients overcome injury to live an active and healthy life. From her experience as a collegiate volleyball player, she understands firsthand the frustration and stress that injury can cause. Dr. Urch treats patients of all ages with diverse orthopedic injuries. She specializes in injuries and conditions of the knee and shoulder, with a particular interest in women’s health and caring for female athletes and other active women.

Laura Cooper, PT , DPT – Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy

Laura’s clinical focus is sports medicine, general orthopedics, therapeutic yoga, Women’s Health, and post-mastectomy/breast cancer rehab. She has manual physical therapy training through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and has advanced skills in treating pre- and post-partum, as well as other women’s health issues. Laura is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has had personal experience with strength and conditioning at the collegiate level while on the Cross Country and Track Teams at the University of Oregon. Laura is co-director of Therapeutic Associates – Central Oregon and is on-site director of TAI at The Athletic Club of Bend.
