Dr. Viviane Ugalde

Dr. Ugalde currently practices at The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research, is the Director of St. Charles Outpatient Rehabilitation, sits on the TCF (The Center Foundation) Board of Directors and functions as the TCF Concussion Program Medical Director. Read more

Dr. Gerry Gioia

Dr. Gerry Gioia, chief of Pediatric Neuropsychology, Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC. and director of Neurobehavioral and Psychosocial Evaluation Core Laboratory of the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC). In May 2014, Dr. Gioia received the nationally acclaimed Angel Award for cutting edge work in youth concussions.

Dr. Kevin Guskiewcz

Dr. Kevin Guskiewcz, the Kenan Distinguished Professor and co-director of the Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center and director of the Center for the Study of Retired Athletes in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds joint appointments in the Department of Orthopaedics, UNC Injury Prevention Research Center and Doctoral Program in Human Movement Science.

Karen Walz, PT, MA, OCS, COMP, FAAOMPT

Karen Walz, PT, MA, OCS, COMP, FAAOMPT is currently working on a doctorate through the University of Montana. As a physical therapist practicing at Therapeutic Associates, Inc. in Bend, Oregon, Karen experienced an advanced curriculum in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular dysfunction through Stanford University in her Masters of Arts program. As the Director of the Occupational Rehabilitation program she developed and implemented clinics on injury management and injury prevention. She is a member of the Work Injury Management Association of Oregon and the American Physical Therapy Association.
