Neurosurgeon

The Center is seeking a neurosurgeon to join our group of 20 physicians and 19 PAs. We have some of the region’s most highly skilled physicians in a multitude of specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, physical medicine & rehabilitation, sports medicine, occupational medicine, and a range of subspecialties. We offer a rapid track to partnership (12-15 months), ownership in an ambulatory surgery center, and imaging (MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound). We currently have an agreement with the hospital system to provide trauma call and the opportunity to collaborate on patient care enhancements through a service level agreement.

Athletic Trainer - Certified (Part-time)

The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care, is seeking a motivated, positive, team oriented Certified Athletic Trainer for a 10-month-per-year position in Culver, Oregon (one hour north of Bend in Central Oregon). This position will consist of approximately 20 hours per week as the athletic trainer in a high school setting (for The Center Foundation). T0he 10-month period will run from mid-August to mid-June each year.

The Center Foundation provides athletic trainers through our outreach program to local high schools. Athletic Trainer duties for The Center Foundation include working with athletes in the training room at Culver High School, five afternoons a week, providing coverage for team practices as well as some evening and weekend events. Mileage reimbursement to and from The Center (in Bend) for monthly staff meetings, along with professional dues and licensing fees. Other duties may include support work for The Center Foundation which holds medical conferences and fundraising events during the year.

Athletic Trainer Supervisor

We are seeking a certified athletic trainer to join our team. This position will work in conjunction with The Center Foundation to directly supervise and support seven ATs at seven area high schools, as well as help expand the AT program to support additional schools and sports programs while improving the level of care and expertise. Duties will include direct support and supervision of ATs at their schools, meeting with school administration as needed, coordinating professional development activities, overseeing our concussion management program, and assisting with community outreach, marketing and public relations for Foundation events. Requires a current NATABOC certification, Oregon AT registration or eligibility to apply, and current CPR/AED credentials. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, preferably at the high school level, a master’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field, and supervisory experience is desired. Experience with marketing, social media, and concussion management is a plus. This is a full-time position and can be 30 or 40 hours per week – you choose! Moving allowance available. Desktop Support Analyst

We are seeking an experienced desktop support analyst. The ideal candidate will supplement their broad technical skills with excellent communication and time management skills, be self-motivated, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to think outside the box. IT team members often wear many “hats” and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where we collaborate and use our technical skill sets not only to maintain systems but enhance business processes that ultimately improve patient care. This position requires a good understanding of Microsoft desktop operating systems and application software as well as a good understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, printers and networking. In addition, experience with reporting applications (Crystal Reports) and HTML/Web development applications is preferred (but not required).

The essential duties of the position will be to:

  • Participate as a member of The Center’s IT helpdesk, providing general end user support and assistance with desktop hardware, software applications and phone systems. 
  • Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming calls, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other computer-related technologies.
  • Communicate with end users and team members on status of open support requests.
  • Effectively analyze support requests and escalate issues to appropriate team members as needed to ensure effective and efficient resolutions. 
  • Provide initial user setup (Active Directory, clinical and desktop applications)
  • Work with the IT team to create and update documentation
  • Stay current with relevant technological developments, industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours support as needed.

Patient Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking a positive, professional to join our team. You will work with patients on all financial aspects of care including reviewing payment options, insurance coverage, and keeping account balances current. Good communication, computer, and math skills required. Medical insurance knowledge and prior experience with collections a plus.

Scribe

We are seeking a part-time Medical Scribe. Anticipated schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday. You will be responsible for recording medical information during patient visits on a laptop.

– Face-to-face patient contact. Take electronic notes during patient visits in the room with the physician and patient present.

– Scribe experience desired but not required (tell us why you would be a good scribe!)

– Strong computer skills needed – must type fast and accurately.

– Fast pace.
