Orthopedic Surgeon - Total Joint

We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join our team of fellowship-trained physicians consisting of 14 orthopedic surgeons, 2 neurosurgeons, 5 physical medicine & rehabilitation physicians, and 21 PA’s in a well established practice with on-site MRI and ASC. We are seeking a fellowship-trained total joint surgeon with an interest in becoming a partner. Outstanding earning potential based on production. Practice and play in one of the most desirable communities in the Pacific Northwest. Come to Bend and enjoy skiing, climbing, biking, fishing, and golf within minutes of town. Regional population is 250K.

Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have A/P experience in integrated GL system and a strong accounting background. Experience in MAS 90 is helpful. Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills, and strong Excel skills.

Appointment Scheduler

Join our appointment scheduling team and get rewarded with monthly incentives! We are seeking a positive, detail-oriented person to join our appointment scheduling team. Responsibilities include answering phones, triaging calls, and scheduling appointments. Earn up to an extra $200 a month by meeting monthly benchmarks! This position requires good organizational and computer skills, ability to multitask & excellent teamwork with a positive attitude. Prior customer service and computer experience required. This is a full-time position and includes benefits. $15.00 + $.50 increase after 90 days upon good performance.

Medical Billing Specialist

Join our team in Medical Billing. Duties include reviewing patient accounts for accuracy in all areas including insurance, charges, and payments in addition to following up on outstanding insurance balances by working A/R reports and processing initial denials. This position requires strong customer service, phone, and computer skills and the ability to interact well with the team. Previous collections, insurance verification, and/or aging experience in a medical environment desired. Two years medical billing experience preferred. This is a full-time position.

Medical Insurance Collection Specialist

Cascade Surgicenter (located at The Center in Bend) is seeking a positive, detail-oriented person to join our Business Office team. Duties include reviewing patient accounts and working with medical insurance companies to collect payment. This position requires strong computer skills and the ability to interact well with the team. Two years of medical billing or collections experience preferred. This is a full-time position.

Occ Med Technician/MA

The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care is seeking an Occ Med Technician/Medical Assistant (MA) to join our occupational medicine team. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. This role provides a variety of services for patients/clients including drug screens, audiogram testing, and phlebotomy procedures. Revenue Cycle Director

We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Director to join our dynamic organization in this new role and to lead our revenue cycle team.  The Revenue Cycle Director’s role will be to work under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer to maximize revenue, minimize bad debt, improve cash flow and effectively manage accounts receivables. This position will coordinate effective management of revenue cycle activities across the organization including coding, billing, collections, payment posting, prior authorizations, and financial counseling for patients. This person will also define and implement revenue cycle best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all aspects of day-to-day revenue cycle operations and personnel and implementation of established policies.
  • Creates necessary revenue cycle policies and procedures as necessary and adjusts these policies and procedures over time according to internal and/or external business requirements.
  • Monitors and reports on key metrics such as cash collections, days outstanding, unbilled, denials, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains controls and procedures for all payments collected and posted in the practice management system.
  • Maintains effective communication with third party insurance carriers to resolve issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction.
  • Selects and monitors outside collection vendors engaged in the collection of receivables.
  • Leads and provides operational directives for all activities related to claims management and collections of the company’s receivables and ensures timely, efficient cash collections to support the overall financial goals of the facility.
  • Reviews all statistical reports to monitor trends and determine operational deficiencies and implements corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Collaborates with other departments to build a team approach to day-to-day problem solving.
  • Manages staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, and development.

We are looking for the following set of skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 10 years billing experience, including at least 5 years in healthcare preferred.
  • Substantial experience in a leadership position. Experience leading both billing and coding teams is preferred.
  • Ability to provide leadership to the revenue cycle team and be a productive, collaborative member of the management team in decision making, implementation, and quality compliance.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access. 
  • Experience with electronic heath records and practice management software required.
  • Familiarity with coding, charge entry, A/R management, and payment posting functions.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with a variety of individuals and disciplines.

Scribe

We are seeking a full-time medical scribe that is responsible for recording medical information during patient visits on a laptop computer. This is a fast-paced position that includes taking electronic notes during patient visits with the physician and patient present. Strong computer skills needed, must type fast and accurately. Scribe experience desired, but not required (tell us why you would be a good scribe!).
