TESTIMONIALS

“After a softball injury, I tore my meniscus and saw an orthopedic surgeon at The Center. The MRI showed advanced arthritis and my doctor told me that I would need to have both knees replaced eventually. When the knee pain was holding me back from skiing, I had both knees replaced in one year. My goal was to ski again pain-free and get back to patrolling. My first season back on the mountain, my knees feel stronger than ever and I couldn’t be happier.” – Eric Brittingham

“I started riding mountain bikes in my junior year of college. I enjoyed racing and discovered I had a passion and talent for enduro, and was able to turn professional about four years ago. In November 2018, I injured my knee riding. My diagnosis included a torn meniscus, ruptured ACL, and a partial tear on my MCL. As a professional athlete that has gone through injuries before, I knew I was in for a long recovery, both physically and mentally. Dr. Bollom and the entire team were incredible and I felt at ease during the entire process.” – Porsha Murdock

“I have been coming to The Center since we moved to Sisters in 2007. I have been treated by Dr. Tim Bollom most of that time and have come into contact with other doctors there, via my family members. We have found the physicians, medical, and clerical/administrative staff incredibly professional and compassionate. We feel fortunate to come to a community, in our retirement, with such highly skilled and professional practitioners and facilities, with a focus of maintaining the highest standard of care, no matter who the patient may be. We thank you for being here to care for us!”

“My whole life I have been healthy and active. I had never even been to a hospital before my knee injury. I love to golf, fish, hunt, camp, travel, boat, and pretty much anything outdoors. After a five-day golf trip, I was feeling a lot of pain in my knee. I knew it was time to go see Dr. Bollom. He took an MRI and confirmed that I had a torn meniscus. We thought we could wait to have the procedure until winter so I could continue my activities, but a couple months later it still hurt and I knew I needed to get it done right away. It was a simple thirty-minute procedure, and I was in the car on my way home literally 20-minutes after I woke up from the anesthesia. The recovery wasn’t too bad, I only needed the pain medication for the first two days. I followed his instructions carefully and after 16 days, I was back playing golf. The whole process was smooth and Dr. Bollom’s staff and the surgery center staff were terrific. I had great care in getting me back to my activities and enjoying life again!” – Tim Booher

“Actually, I was “early” for my appointment and Dr. Bollom and his staff called me right in! This has happened in prior visits. GREAT Customer Service! Very Friendly Staff, Love Dr. Bollom!!”

“First, a quick check in on the knee – it is doing fantastic. It is now my strong knee and I can’t wait to get the other one done. Unfortunately, my 2016 calendar is already filling up and I don’t see my left knee getting done before 2017. On that note, I want to let you know that no one but you will be doing that knee. You did an amazing job for me and for many others with whom I have spoken! I sing your praises at every opportunity. Thank you for your dedicated professionalism! May God richly bless you in the coming year. Have a sparkling day!” – Bob Shaw

“I have recommended Dr. Bollom to several friends with knee injuries. He’s amazing, and that’s coming from an Army nurse who specialized in neuro/ortho trauma.”

“As a former major league baseball player and now as a coach with the LA Dodgers, I have worked with the highest quality orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Bollom is no exception. His attention to detail, approachable personality, and experience all impressed me. I tore my ACL skiing and after two years needed surgery to repair it. I was a patient of Dr. Steadman in Vail, Colorado and Dr. Bollom was recommended to me because he had worked under him and was doing all of the same techniques right here in Bend. He was responsive to all of my questions after the surgery and I am certain he pays that same level of attention to all of his patients. I was back to my normal activities within six months and am now fully recovered.” – Brady Clark

“I think Dr. Bollom is the best. He has been my doctor for about 10 years and did my total knee replacement 4 years ago. I have always found him to be caring, knowledgeable and never in a rush during my appointments. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him to anyone in my condition.”

“I had knee pain for many years. I had several minor procedures and injections, but the pain became much worse in August of 2014. So painful that I couldn’t walk; I had to use crutches at work. When I looked at the x-rays with Dr. Bollom it became obvious that I needed surgery. I had my knee replaced in October. The minute I woke up from surgery, the debilitating pain was gone. There was some post-op pain, but I knew it was better. Within a day I was back on crutches and five weeks later I was back at work. Since then, I have been to Mexico, I can hike, do the elliptical machine, and work without pain. It’s nice to have my life back.” – Susan Decker, MD

“Dr. Timothy Bollom came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. I am a few days out from my visit and am feeling encouraged. I feel that I have established care with an excellent listener, and someone who cares about my condition. He was attentive and thorough in his examination, and requested feedback from me as to the direction of my care. Any minor issues I had were quickly forgotten as I found myself in the hands of a physician who I now have every confidence in. I could not be happier. I believe the success of your organization is highly dependent on the quality of your providers. You have a truly great one in Timothy Bollom.”

“I was impressed that Dr. Bollom came from Colorado, where he had a reputation for innovative work with athletes. He knew the latest techniques and made me feel very comfortable. Thanks to Dr. Bollom and the great staff and facilities at The Center, I can hit the slopes as hard as ever. I’m working on new tricks and higher jumps.” – Jill Sweeney
