Stretch out to loosen up tight muscles like your hamstrings and quadriceps so that you are better able to absorb the impact of landings and be comfortable in the air.
Take some warm up runs on the groomers before you start spinning corked 720's off Big Mama (and remember to practice skiing forward turns before you start skiing switch from top to bottom).
Work your way up to the bigger hills by testing your legs first and getting them prepared for larger jumps to come.
Stay hydrated and fueled so that your body doesn't fail at moments when there is little room for error.
Don't look at the paparazzi while you're spinning because you'll lose site of your landing and risk losing your sponsorship.
